The Price We Pay:
D.C. has a blank check for war and a shuttered wallet for Houston. The system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as intended for the people who bought it. We send our neighbors to die for corporate interests while D.C. ignores our crumbling transit and our safety. While the cost of groceries rise every week, billionaires hoard more wealth than at any point in history. I’m not running to join the status quo. I’m running to end the heist. People over Profits, period
The Change We Demand:
We take the "blank check" back from the war machine and corporate lobbies and spend it where it belongs: in our own backyard.
Remove Money from Politics: Lizzie Fletcher takes thousands from AIPAC & corporate PACs. I take zero. My only "special interest" is the people of this district.
Universal Healthcare: We must stop treating health as a profit center and guarantee free, universal care so no Houstonian goes bankrupt staying alive.
End of ICE: Stop funding fear; start funding our schools and infrastructure.
$20 Minimum Wage: Raise the wage to meet the rent!
